Duality of water and land
Under water and on top of earth
Flower crown, holy and yet we see flowers everyday.
This painting had a hard time ending,
I just wanted to keep going, painting this frog.
I used primary colors, red yellow and blue.
Inspired by Bauhaus design.
If you know you know.
And if you don't go look at the pretty buildings in Neve Tzedek.
Rav Kook lived there, that man knew all about duality.
Good man. First Chief Rabbi of Jaffa. 1904.
This painting had a hard time ending.
So I told the frog, I said,
All paintings have a hard time ending.
But the secret is,
No painting ends.
It continues on in the next one.
Like my three abstract paintings in my bedroom across from my bed and the window.
By the door.
It has three paintings, different color schemes, similar patterns, but totally unique character.
And each one, unplanned, blends into the next one. Beautiful. I hope it keeps growing.
The abstract sleeps with me every night I’m home. What a great thing.
Sleep, Awake.
Sea, Land.
Binary. I code, so you know I know the binary. Is that the same as duality?
I don’t know. I’m not a philosopher. I’m a farmer. Or at least, I have imminent plans to be one.
Hey I know a story with frogs in it,
A lot of frogs, way too many frogs.
The second warning to let the Israel people go from slavery in Egypt,
Was endless frogs!
The frogs came and came
Everywhere
Way too many frogs
Unbearable.
There were 8 more warnings after that one.
So here is another crazy story,
This past summer I took a course in Tel Aviv University,
On the topic of the Arab Spring.
So, one of the contributing factors to the Arab Spring,
Was an extreme population growth rate in these Countries.
And the authoritative regime did not have jobs for people,
So they had no money, and they went to protest.
And the authoritative regimes, really did not like that at all.
And so thus begain the Arab Spring, and groups like
Al Qaeda, ISIS the genocides in Syria, the Houthis, and the terrible wars in Yemen, and more than I can even hold in my brain all at once.
A terrible story.
I learnt,
That the creative force was used against Mizryaim.
By multiplying frogs
To an unbearable amount
Where they didn’t know what to even do with them anymore.
Until you couldn’t imagine a place without these frogs.
Now,I’m truly grateful for the creative force.
We hang out all the time.
And I have beautiful plans and projects.
A traditional Chinese Medicine app,
To help you take care of yourself.
A hydroponic farm
To grow lettuce,
And a Hebrew Language learning app,
To help you learn Hebrew in a safe environment.
So yes, I painted a frog.
To celebrate the beautiful, chaotic, divine, creative force that is the world and life.
If that made sense, and you want more, tell me.
